Delicate and Delectable – Honey Lace Cookies

Honey Lace Cookies

I love baking and am always up for trying something new!  When I came across this recipe on the Martha Stewart website I just knew that I had to give it a try!

Honey Lace Cookies are quite similar to brandy snaps, except of course they contain honey (instead of golden syrup).  As I mentioned in my Brandy Snap post, these are really simple little treats to make and best of all they’re quite impressive looking!

Honey Lace Cookies

  • 2Tbsp Butter (unsalted)
  • 2Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2Tbsp Honey
  • 2Tbsp Flour
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Preheat oven to 190C (375F)
  • Line baking trays with baking paper or silicon sheets
  • In a small saucepan melt butter, sugar and honeyButter, Sugar and HoneyButter, Honey, Sugar Melted
  • Whisk in flour and pinch of saltFlour Mixture
  • Drop 1/2tsp of batter onto prepared trays.  Be sure to work quickly before batter looses proper consistencyUnbaked Honey Lace Cookies
  • Be sure to leave ample room for cookies to spread during cooking
  • Bake for approximately 6 minutes or until cookies are golden
  • Move cookies and paper/silicon sheets to cooling rack and cool completely
  • When cooled use care to remove cookies as they are quite delicateHoney Lace Cookies
