Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting

Versatility with a capital ‘V’.  I love to use this simple and satisfying icing on everything from cakes to cut-out cookies.

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 1pk Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/2C Butter (softened)
  • 500g (1lb) Icing Sugar (powdered sugar)
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • Cream together butter and cream cheese till well mixed
  • Add vanilla
  • Add icing sugar, using a low speed
  • Add food colouring if desired
