Creamy Baked Eggs

Beyond easy and way beyond tasty!  This may be my new favourite way to eat eggs!

Some people may judge love by the degree of difficulty in the dishes which they are served.  I on the other hand, would rather a more simplistic yet very tasty treat knowing it means greater time spent with that someone special!  This recipe truly fits just such a bill!

Breakfast shouldn’t be a stressful endeavor that takes hours to prepare! This recipe is packed with protein to start your day on a high and keep you going for longer.  Best of all from crack of the egg to cracking in it is only a 12-15 minute wait.

Creamy Baked Eggs

All ingredients listed as per serve

  • 1 Egg
  • pinch salt
  • 1-2Tbsp Cream
  • Preheat oven to 180C (375F)
  • Butter ramekin
  • Crack egg into ramekin, season with salt
  • Pour cream over the top
  • Place ramekin into bain marie (baking dish half filled with boiling water)Unbaked Creamy Baked Eggs
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes
  • Serve with hot, buttered toastCreamy Baked Eggs
